Keating Dental Arts, a dental lab specializing in the manufacturing of traditional crowns and cosmetic veneers, recently secured $2M in SBA funding as well as a 30,800 square foot building in Irvine, California. Located near John Wayne airport, the two-story facility has the floor capacity to support over 300+ technicians and production of over 2,500 units a day. Tentative improvements began in mid-September 2004 for completion in December 2004 with an expected move-in date of January 2005.
The $2M provided by the SBA will be used to build new workstations and infrastructure in the new facility as well as provide an increased budget for marketing and sales objectives.
"This new infusion of cash is critical to maintain the strong growth we've experienced over the last two years, and the acquisition of this building assures us that we will be able to meet the increased production demands that come with it. The addition of this building and the new funding highlight the great strides we've made towards becoming a dependable resource for dentists across America. We look forward to becoming a prominent player in the dental lab industry, and feel this step gets us closer to that goal," said Shaun Keating, President of Keating Dental Arts.
