DOMC Live 2025: The event of the year for dental office managers and their teams

March 3, 2025
This first-time event will guide office managers in the fine points of DISC personalities and social media. But most importantly, you'll be able to mingle and share ideas with like-minded people!

I’ve been in the dental field for more than 20 years, and let me tell you, managing a practice today is more challenging than ever. Whether you’re an office manager trying to keep everything running smoothly, a team member juggling patients, or a dentist balancing leadership and patient care, you know that success is not just about clinical skills.

It’s about people and understanding them, communicating with them, and making sure they trust you enough to accept treatment. Also, if you’re not leveraging social media and digital marketing to attract and retain patients, you’re behind. Patients are not just googling "dentist near me," they’re scrolling through Instagram, reading reviews, and looking for an office that stands out.

That’s why I’m excited to announce DOMC Live 2025, the first in-person event for the Dental Office Managers Community, which I founded. We’ve spent years supporting each other online, but now we’ll finally get to come together face-to-face to connect and learn in a way that can only happen at a live event.

This is not just for DOMC Facebook group members. DOMC Live 2025 is open to all dental professionals who want to elevate their leadership skills, improve communication, and learn real strategies to grow their practice. Whether you’re in management, on the team, or running the practice, this event will share skills that will have an immediate impact.

If you’re in the Tri-state area, I cannot emphasize this enough—you need to be at DOMC Live 2025. It will be in Hackensack, New Jersey, on April 3, and I promise you’ll walk away with knowledge you can apply right away.

How DISC personalities and digital marketing can help with big problems in the dental office

Every dental practice has struggles, and I’ve seen it all—staff not getting along, the doctor and team miscommunicating, treatment plans not accepted, and empty chairs that should be full. Sound familiar? We’ve all been there. At DOMC Live 2025, we’ll dive into two topics that will help you solve these issues: DISC personality training and digital marketing strategies.

Problem: Team conflicts and miscommunication

Have you ever worked with someone who just doesn’t get you? Maybe your doctor is quick to make decisions and does not explain things well, and your treatment coordinator needs time to process information. Or maybe your front desk person is great with people but struggles with time management. These differences cause tension and before you know it, the entire office feels off balance.

Solution: DISC personality training

The DISC personality model is a game changer. Personalities are divided into four main types—dominant (D), influential (I), steady (S), and conscientious (C). Once you understand who you’re working with, you can communicate better, reduce conflict, and create a team that works well together instead of just coexisting.

At DOMC Live 2025, Brenda McNulty will teach how to identify DISC personality types, adapt your communication styles, and use these strategies in real-life situations. If your office has ever struggled with drama, misunderstandings, or people not being on the same page, you need this session.

Problem: Struggling to attract and retain patients

Gone are the days when a great location and a listing in the phone book brought in new patients. If you’re not actively marketing online, patients will find another practice. Maybe your office is on social media, but no one posts consistently, or you spend money on ads that are not bringing in actual patients.

Solution: Digital marketing strategies that work

A lot of practices waste time and money on the wrong platforms. Social media marketing does not have to be complicated, but the office does need a strategy. What if you could learn exactly where to focus your efforts, how to build trust online, and what gets patients to book appointments?

At DOMC Live 2025, Dr. Anissa Holmes will break it all down. She’ll share the content strategy that will build trust and fill chairs, the latest 2025 marketing trends, and how to turn social media engagement into booked appointments. If you’re tired of throwing marketing dollars at things that don’t work, this session is for you.
