Esther Wilkins Legacy League luncheon scheduled for RDH Under One Roof
The Esther Wilkins Legacy League Luncheon will be hosted at the RDH Under One Roof conference on Wednesday, July 17, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The luncheon will be highlighted by a CE course presented by Maria Perno Goldie, RDH, and a drawing for a pair of Orascoptic loupes.
Established with a founding gift from Dr. Esther Wilkins, the Esther Wilkins Education Program provides dental hygiene professionals and students with engaging oral health lessons for their outreach activities. Volunteers exist in all 50 states, Canada, and on military bases abroad.
The Esther Wilkins Legacy League, which was founded through the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation as a result of a gift from Dr. Esther Wilkins, provides children’s oral health education.
Perno Goldie, who is co-chair of the Esther Wilkins Education Program and Legacy League, said the program is “reaching thousands of children and families with preventive strategies and oral health and embraced by dental hygienists and students in all 50 states, Canada and military bases around the world.”
Perno Goldie’s seminar at the luncheon, which is scheduled to start 12:30 pm in the Neapolitan 1 room on the opening day of the 2013 RDH Under One Roof, is titled, “Educate, Prevent, Protect: Protecting Smiles Beyond the Boundaries of the Practice.”
