Chairside Connection: Recommendations for summer smiles

July 22, 2024
Danette Ocegueda joins Dr. Pam to discuss some of the Philips Oral Healthcare products she recommends to her patients who ask for that bright summer smile.

Why is this the time of year when patients especially want a whiter smile? Danette Oceguda, MS, RDH, and I discuss this, but we realize our patients also want healthier smiles.

Danette explains that she questions her patients thoroughly when they ask for whiter: what are they doing to maintain their oral health, what's their routine, what tools do they use? She'll recommend the whitening products, but also takes the opportunity to get in some recommendations that improve their overall oral health as well. Philips has tools that help patients achieve both.

She discusses the Philips products she prefers, including the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart toothbrush, which offers an immediate solution to some of patients' oral issues. She also shares some of the results she's seen in her patients.

Listen to our discussion to decide if you want to add Philips products to your recommendations lineup.
