Burkhart Dental celebrates 125 years
After 125 years in business, Burkhart Dental boasts a longer lifespan than even their home state of Oklahoma. In celebration, the company put together a big to-do for their employees at the Tulsa Zoo. As we share stomping grounds in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Proofs was lucky enough to be invited along for the celebration. The event took place in the Helmerich Discovery Center. A summertime feast was prepared in a grand room fit for a party and featured the cake of the century (a century and a quarter to be exact), proof that even dental professionals are susceptible to a sweet tooth.
Also making its 125th trip around the sun, the Tulsa Zoo's oldest animal, the tortoise, enjoyed the smiling company of Burkhart employees and their families. Everyone gathered cheerfully with the 125-years-young tortoise for a group picture as part of a company that's been going strong for well over a century. Branch manager George Reed shared with us his idea that the well-established company has nowhere to go but up. He imagines the company will continue to grow, as it as, for another 125 years and beyond.
