On the run for 17 years, the accused Boston crime boss James ``Whitey'' Bulger and his longtime girlfriend were finally caught in California by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Wednesday.
The agency had hoped a hairstylist, manicurist, doctor, or other acquaintance might recognise Greig, a former dental hygienist.
On a local note, Bulger is accused of assisting in a sensational murder in Tulsa, Okla., hometown of PennWell Publishing, in 1981.
