Dental Assistants Recognition Week—A week we should all be thankful for
We are excited to announce the annual celebration of Dental Assistants Recognition Week (DARW) takes place from March 6-12. During this special week we honor the hard working and important practice builders of every dental practice—dental assistants!
Whether you’re the office manager of a dental practice, or are the practice owner, make sure you’ve made plans regarding how you will celebrate this special week with your entire dental staff. If you need ideas or a little help in ways to show your appreciation to these hard working and dedicated team members, here are a few ideas and resources. Dental assistants, feel free to clip this article and post it in a visible place in the office (hint, hint).
1. A bonus. Nothing says “thank you” like a little extra cash.
2. Buy lunch, and don’t forget the dessert and lit candles!
3. Give a gift card to each member of your dental assisting staff.
4. Take a group staff photo with the assistants front and center, caption it DARW, and place it on your website, Facebook page, and other social media outlets.
5. Say thank you. These words can mean so much at the end of a hectic day.
