Kerr recently launched a new cementation system, NX3 XTR, comprised of NX3 Nexus Third Generation and OptiBond XTR.

The NX3 XTR kit blends the versatility of the NX3 resin cement with the adhesion superiority of the Kerr OptiBond XTR for a new standard in permanent cementation of all esthetic materials, according to Leo Pranitis, vice president of global marketing for Kerr.

Dr. Mark Fleming of Scottsdale, AZ, has been using the new system for a few months. "The clean up is very good. That's helpful when doing a lot of bonding. It's very easy to use," he said.

Dr. Fleming would recommend it to other dentists because, "Kerr has a very good track record for adhesive dentistry. I like the ability of not having to cure the adhesive before bonding the restoration. And the added silane is a bonus."

Pranitis added, “In one kit, the dentist may now enjoy effortless cement removal, superior color stability and high adhesion. Above all, NX3 XTR gives our customers and their patients the reliability and trusted performance of two of Kerr’s most proven products."
