Under the new agreement, HumanaDental will distribute SafeGuard's dental HMO products to employer groups throughout Florida.

SafeGuard Health Enterprises, Inc. has announced that its Florida dental health maintenance organization subsidiary has entered into a strategic marketing agreement with HumanaDental, the dental insurance subsidiary of Humana Inc. Commenting on the expanded relationship, James E. Buncher, president and chief executive officer of SafeGuard, stated, "We are pleased to expand this relationship to include Florida. Clients of both SafeGuard and HumanaDental will benefit from the combination of a stronger product offering and an effective sales distribution channel. This allows HumanaDental to meet employers' needs with a complete product portfolio in Florida, including dental PPO, traditional indemnity and dental HMO plans."
