CHATSWORTH, California--The Appliance Therapy Group has announced that Dr. Lawrence A. May will join the lineup of dental professionals, clinicians, and field-related experts speaking at ATPA 2010.
The Seventh Annual Appliance Therapy Practitioners Association Symposium will be held March 11-March 14, 2010, at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, Nev.
Dr. May is a medical authority and former executive vice-president of Herbalife International. In his presentation entitled, "A Non-Invasive Method for Treating Sleep," Dr. May will discuss the advantages of vitamin therapy for the dental sleep market, the scientific facts of vitamin functions (a clinical studies review), the benefits and limitations of vitamin supplementation, and the use COQ10 Cranberry Extract in dental supplements.
"Dr. May's considerable talents and expertise will be an important part of this year's focus on dental sleep medicine," explained ATG CEO Dr. Rob Veis. "He's just the one to tell you everything you wanted to know about vitamin therapy and vitamin sleep therapy--a real don't-miss opportunity."
This year, the symposium will dedicate an entire day to Sleep Appliance Therapy--techniques, tools, and trends. There will also be two days devoted to staff training with Anita Jupp.
This will involve discussion and application of the principles of team play, goal orchestration, motivation strategies and education essentials, and the art of collaborative promotion, support and success. In addition, participating doctors are invited to bring their staff--two of which can attend free of charge.
Seminar-goers will have the opportunity to earn as many as 42 continuing education credits and receive certification in the Perio-Protect Method. Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit case presentations for display and feedback, participate in hands-on round table sessions, attend lectures and workshops on topics from minor tooth movement to mouthguards to legal imperatives, and initiate and grow future relationships, programs, and partnerships.
