Benco Dental will distribute Dental Wings implant-planning, CAD/CAM software
Dental Wings Inc. of Montreal, Canada, and Benco Dental of Pittston, Pennsylvania, announced on Thursday that Benco Dental will distribute digital dentistry products by Dental Wings.
Benco Dental will distribute Dental Wings coDiagnostiX implant-planning software, the DWOS suite of prosthetic design software, and Dental Wings desktop impression and model scanners.
Dental Wings recently released DWOS Synergy connectivity technology. DWOS Synergy allows cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) files and surface-scan STL (STereoLithography) files to be merged and shared live between Dental Wings coDiagnostiX implant-planning software and DWOS prosthetic design software.
DWOS Synergy provides an integrated surgical-prosthetic design environment through which every aspect of the implant case can be considered and designed collaboratively between the clinical and laboratory teams over a secure Internet connection. The resulting plan can then be used to produce a drill guide and an immediate prosthetic or custom tissue former prior to the surgery.
