Northstar Onsite provides 3-D imaging to western Massachusetts.

ELMSFORD, New York--ImageWorks, a provider of imaging products to the dental, medical, and veterinary marketplace, has announced a new mobile cone beam ct provider.

Northstar Onsite will guide dental professionals in western Massachusetts with cone beam 3-D imaging from the NewTom VGi for procedures such as endodontic, implant placement, TMJ/TMD, sleep apnea, oral surgery, and orthodontic treatments. Northstar’s staff of CBCT technicians travels to referring doctors’ offices in the mobile van outfitted with the CBCT to provide imaging techniques and service.

Northstar Onsite has aligned itself with a number of key partners to offer a solution to referring doctors. In addition to NewTom, Northstar has teamed up with Radiology & Imaging for radiology reports, along with nSequence for treatment planning. The relationship between the three service providers gives Northstar’s customers the potential for receiving a complete solution--from taking the scan, having it read, and providing the referring doctor with the treatment plan.

According to Northstar President Andrew Chorzempa, “Northstar has developed a partnership with Radiology & Imaging, LLC, to provide detailed oral maxillofacial diagnostic reports for doctor’s working with Northstar. Each patient scan is read by a board certified radiologist. Radiology & Imaging is the official Radiology Group of Massachusetts’s Baystate Hospitals and we are pleased to have them as a partner.”

nSequence provides 3-D conversions, digital guides, and treatment planning. They offer virtual planning, validation and custom Instrumentation, provisional and final prosthesis, and custom abutments.
