In previous episodes we’ve talked about how to be a new hygienist in a new practice and taking over for someone who’s been doing this for a while. Today, we’re going to talk about how to respond to a patient who says, “You’re not my normal hygienist.”
Patients have a right to know who will be examining them. We need to instill trust in our patients and make them comfortable with us and their dental hygiene appointment.
Join us in this episode of Gloves Off, as we discuss how to talk to the patient who has concerns and how to listen to those concerns and respond appropriately. We’ll start off with an example that has happened in real-life clinical practice.
