High translucency shades provide natural, high-end restorations.

ANDOVER, Massachusetts--Straumann has announced that IPS e.max CAD restorations by Straumann CADCAM are now available in 20 new high-translucency shades.

The new IPS e.max CAD restorations by Straumann CADCAM, developed using Ivoclar Vivadent’s proprietary high-performance ceramic technology, are available for single crown restorations. Straumann customers can now fabricate full-anatomic and cutback crowns using the staining technique in the new high-translucency shades for durable, highly esthetic, final restorations.

“IPS e.max CAD restorations by Straumann CADCAM are made of lithium disilicate, a new material from Ivoclar that offers labs and clinicians a final restoration that is designed to be as close to natural dentition as possible,” said Martin Dymek, Straumann North America regional head.

“Our centralized milling facility is convenient and efficient and is designed to produce beautiful restorations for our partners in about three business days. The high translucency shades enable us to maintain a robust level of material options for our partners while remaining one of the world’s leading implant, restorative and regenerative systems, backed by Straumann’s commitment to quality, service, and network support,” added Dymek.
