ST. PAUL, Minnesota--3M ESPE has announced expansion of the Paradigm family brand. The latest Paradigm product--the Paradigm LED Curing Light--is a lightweight, high-intensity LED curing light that expands the collection to yet another essential tool for daily clinical practice. This new light offers reliable and effective curing of resin-based adhesives, filling materials, and cements. Designed for efficiency, the simple, two-button operation of the Paradigm light makes it easy to use and reliable for a dental practitioner. Its high-performance Lithium-ion battery offers 60 minutes of cure time from full charge, and the 10-mm light guide makes it possible to cure a cavity surface in larger restorations in just one shot. The light provides a multiple-setting timer with preset cure times of 5, 10, 15 and 20 seconds, as well as a continuous 120-second mode and a tack-cure mode to help ensure predictable curing and easy removal of excess cured cement. Additionally, the durable resin housing is made of lightweight, high performance plastic while the ergonomic V-shape design of the light provides a comfortable grip for any technique. Performing esthetic and affordable diastema closures with composite restoratives“We understand there are many factors to weigh when making a new product purchase,” said Beth Eskra, curing light marketing manager, 3M ESPE. "The Paradigm light allows the dental professional to select an affordable product without sacrificing the basic features necessary for everyday successful dentistry."The Paradigm light is the third product in the family brand joining Paradigm VPS Impression Material and Paradigm Nano Hybrid Universal Restorative, both of which launched earlier in 2011. Paradigm VPS impression material is well-suited for indications including crowns and bridges, bleaching trays, mouth guard trays, study models, and provisional and denture impressions. The product exhibits tear strength and its hydrophilicity helps produce void-free impressions with detail. Additionally, the versatility and range of viscosities and setting times allow it to accompany a variety of individual techniques and procedures. Paradigm Nano Hybrid restorative also offers a solution for everyday restorative material needs. Available in 12 shades, it is easy to polish and has strength and wear resistance. Paradigm Nano Hybrid restorative is intended for all indications including direct interior and posterior restorations, occlusal surfaces, core build-ups, splinting, and indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays, and veneers. “The Paradigm brand is designed to provide dental professionals with products that have straightforward features and reliable quality at a great price,” said Keith Haig, director of marketing, 3M ESPE. “We look forward to developing additional Paradigm products in a wide variety of categories that fit this objective, in an effort to help dentists keep overhead low and deliver patient care with confidence.” For more information, visit www.3MESPE.com or call (800) 634-2249.To comment on this product, go to community.pennwelldentalgroup.com/.
