Heraeus Kulzer Inc., the North American dental subsidiary of Hanau, Germany-based Heraeus Kulzer GmbH, recently held a HeraCeram porcelain hands-on seminar at the Mid-Atlantic Center for Advanced Dental Study, Chesapeake, Va.
The two-day course was designed to offer dental lab technicians advanced educational insight into the light dynamic effects of synthetic porcelain while demonstrating the benefits of HeraCeram.
Paul Fiechter, MDT, provided the attendees with ceramic technique tips in the usage of the porcelain system. In addition, the participants had a chance to take part in performing both anterior and posterior restorations utilizing techniques and Matrix powders developed by Fiechter.
"I showed the attendees step by step the unique association between fluorescence, opalescence and chroma of the HeraCeram porcelain system," explained Fiechter. "They were also shown how to develop an effective method for achieving natural esthetic results employing the Matrix System with its uniquelight-based powders, which can now deliver a far superior quality and accuracy than ever before."
"This course offers the opportunity to gain some hands-on experience and knowledge of the HeraCeram porcelain system. Everyone enjoyed the two-day course and got something out of it," commented Nader Hedeshi from Bayview Dental Lab in Chesapeake.
"A HeraCeram clinic is coming to a city near you." For more information about the seminar or to register, call 800-431-1785 in the US or (800)-268-2030 in Canada, visit www.heraeus-kulzer-us.com, or e-mail [email protected].
