Philips Zoom recently redesigned its whitening formulas, creating customized solutions for patients’ individualized needs. The company’s new Take-Home Whitening Kits feature five customized treatments. The packaging clearly indicates formula differences, providing patients with a whitening experience that suits their lifestyle.
The five Take-Home Whitening Kit options are:
- DayWhite Maximum White (15 minutes, twice a day; 14% hydrogen peroxide)
- NiteWhite Maximum White (overnight or two to four hours daily; 16% carbamide peroxide)
- NiteWhite Quick 3-day (overnight or two to four hours daily; 22% carbamide peroxide
- DayWhite Gentle (once a day for 30 minutes; 6% hydrogen peroxide)
- DayWhite Touch-ups (5 to 10 minutes daily; 9.5% hydrogen peroxide)
Philips Zoom DayWhite and NiteWhite contain amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) for sensitivity reduction, potassium nitrate for desensitization, and fluoride.
While introducing the new Philips Zoom products to dental professionals attending the 2014 California Dental Association meeting in Anaheim, the company referred to a 2013 study of 1,960 Internet users older than age 18.
