In a recent university clinical study, new Opalescence PF 10% was shown to have the lowest sensitivity of the tested dentist-dispensed tooth-whitening products, including products from manufacturers claiming reduced or no/zero sensitivity. Opalescence PF 10% combines the whitening gel, fluoride and desensitizing agents in an easy-to-use, single-syringe delivery system. The gel is formulated with potassium nitrate and 0.11% fluoride ion to effectively address patient sensitivity. A significant water content also aids in reducing dehydration and thermal sensitivity.
