MENOMONEE FALLS, Wisconsin--ProFloss Dental Waterjet, a new entrant in the oral irrigator market features affordability, convenience, and sustainability.

ProFloss Dental Waterjet is the a faucet-powered oral irrigator. For adults and children, the product has a suggested retail price of $19.95. ProFloss Dental Waterjet doesn't take up counter space, require batteries or electricity, and doesn't leave wasted water sitting in a reservoir.

Idea Factory applied its patented quick-connect technology developed for its Rinse Ace Brand shower products to ProFloss Dental Waterjet. Users simply remove the existing aerator from the faucet one time and replace it with the quick-connect aerator that comes with the unit.

Then the ProFloss Dental Waterjet hose is attached to the aerator to be powered by the faucet. Users select from four settings that can be adjusted based on their preference. It's sold with two color-coded waterjet picks. Picks may be purchased for additional family members.

"We believe our convenient product with its lower price point works well for families in this tough economy," said Idea Factory CEO Patty Mueller. "Since dental waterjets are being recommended more as an integral part of a preventative dental care routine, it's important for consumers to have an affordable option. Not everyone can afford to spend $30 or more for an oral irrigator. We've received positive responses from professionals in the dental community."

"I often recommend oral irrigation to help patients supplement thorough cleaning of their mouths," said Ginny C., a dental hygienist for more than 30 years. "Many patients are surprised by how much debris comes out after thinking that they've cleaned well with brushing and flossing. I also see tissue improvement when the patient uses an oral irrigator regularly."

Consumers generally seek information on oral irrigators as part of a sound dental routine. ProFloss Dental Waterjet was recently spotlighted by QuickandSimple.com, receiving more than 9,300 entries during a week-long contest.
