The finishing and polishing kit, designed to complement GC America's composite line, includes three diamond-impregnated polishing instruments and five 12-bladed carbide finishing burs
GC America Inc. has launched the Ultimate F&P Kit, a complementary rotary instrument kit for the GC line of composite materials, which includes Gradia, Kalore, and G-aenial. The kit includes three diamond-impregnated polishing instruments and five 12-bladed carbide finishing burs.
The new 12-bladed finishing carbides are designed for creating and finishing composite restorations that closely resemble the natural dentition. The anterior instruments are manufactured with precise concentricity standards and feature the TrueTip Safe-Endto reduce the incidence of “bur jumping” under load, provide more operator control, and deliver better cutting efficiency. Additionally, the carbide burs offer more control than conventional, spiral-fluted rotary instruments and can be used to establish ideal tooth anatomy and morphology. With the Ultimate F&P Kit, clinicians can easily achieve natural primary (geometric form), secondary (developmental grooves, lobes, cingulum, triangular ridges, and fossae), and tertiary (surface texture, pits, and fissures) anatomy.

The OneStepComposite Polishing System, with point, cup, and disc shapes, features a flexible design for optimal control and contact when polishing all composite surfaces for a faster, higher surface luster in one simple step. Additionally, the diamond-impregnated polishers are easy-to-handle, time-saving, and designed for both wet and dry application. This polishing system can be autoclaved for multiple uses, eliminating the need for additional grit polishing rotary instruments.
