FIND apex locator

New from UltraDent: The Endo-Eze FIND apex locator

Aug. 9, 2014
UltraDent introduces a new apex locator.

Earlier this month, Utah-based Ultradent Products, Inc., introduced a new apex locator. Its Endo-Eze FIND apex locator is the latest device on the market that assists in apex localization and working-length determination during root canal treatment.

FIND is battery-operated (a single AAA battery is all you need), portable, and uses a multifrequency-dependent impedance method and proprietary algorithms to determine the position of the apical foramen.

FIND features an easy-to-read, full-color graphic display, audio feedback, and fully automatic multifrequency measurements. The device is small (3.6 inches x 2.2 inches), easily fitting on a counter or treatment tray.

In a press release, the manufacturer stressed the importance of using modern apex locators in conjunction with radiographic working images.
