Pulpdent Corporation's Embrace™ WetBond™ Restoration & PFM Repair Kit provides unique materials for preparing, priming, opaquing, and protecting surfaces, and for sealing, finishing, and polishing the final repair or restoration. This multi-functional kit works on all surfaces and with fewer required steps, which saves time and money.
The Embrace™ Wetbond™ Restoration & PFM Repair kit contains the first moist-bonding resins specifically designed for bonding to all restorative, metal and ceramic surfaces. It eliminates the use of metal primers and silane and provides superior bonds to metal and ceramic surfaces.
The kit contains five products: Embrace First-Coat™, Embrace Opaquer, and Embrace Seal-n-Shine™, each formulated with R.A.I.N. technology; Kool-Dam, and Porcelain Etch Gel.
Embrace First-Coat, which contains no solvents, bonds chemically and mechanically to prepared ceramic and metal. Seal-n-Shine penetrates and seals, leaving a glaze-like finish on restored or repaired surfaces. Embrace Opaquer spreads easily with a brush for fast application and light cures in just 20 seconds. These three products have all the advantages of Embrace technology, including chemical bonds to metal, ceramic, and tooth surfaces, and the ability to bond in a slightly moist field.
Kool-Dam™ is the first heatless liquid dam and is used to mask and protect soft tissue, teeth, and restorative surfaces. It stays where placed and does not produce heat when light cured, assuring patient comfort. Kool-Dam remains flexible after curing and is easily removed in one piece at the end of the procedure.
Porcelain Etch Gel is a 9.6% hydrofluoric acid gel. It is thixotropic, stays where placed, and etches ceramic in 2 minutes without discoloring the ceramic.
Embrace WetBond Restoration & PFM Repair Kit is available from dental dealers in kit form containing 1.2 mL syringe each of First-Coat, Seal-n-Shine, Opaquer, Porcelain Etch Gel, Kool-Dam and accessories. A $5 manufacturer's rebate is in effect through March 31, 2004 with proof of purchase.
