Tufts AAWD Student Chapter

The Tufts Student Chapter of the AAWD has been very active this year in trying to reach out to the community and create unity within our group. In the fall, we participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, had a clothing drive, and organized several social events.

The Tufts Student Chapter of the AAWD has been very active this year in trying to reach out to the community and create unity within our group. In the fall, we participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, had a clothing drive, and organized several social events. Several AAWD members attended the Pre-Yankee Women's Conference, and on February 21, the Tufts AAWD hosted a Wine and Cheese party in honor of Saint Appolonia, the Patron Saint of Dentistry. Members of Tufts AAWD and the newly formed BU AAWD got together to socialize and share ideas regarding future AAWD activities on their campuses. Recently, members of Tufts AAWD visited Boston Community Leadership High School to discuss opportunities within the field of dentistry with interested high school students. The guidance counselor at the school was very excited to have us speak to the students and has asked us to come again.
