Principal Financial Group announces new arrangement with Dental Health Services
The Principal Financial Group(R), the nation's 401(k) leader and premier provider of employee benefits, announces a new business relationship with Dental Health Services for customers in California. This marketing and distribution services agreement allows brokers to offer insured dental coverage from The Principal(R) combined with prepaid dental plans from Dental Health Services to employers.
With this arrangement, employers can now offer their employees access to a dual option dental program, which combines insured indemnity or preferred provider organization coverage and prepaid dental plans. Employees can select the option that best meets their needs, from either a benefit and cost or provider access standpoint. In turn, employers offering these additional employee benefit options receive more flexible pricing to meet their budget.
"The agreement between The Principal and Dental Health Services allows both companies to expand their product depth and presence within the California market," said Theresa McConeghey, dental product director at The Principal. "This arrangement demonstrates our commitment to providing our clients with the most innovative solutions for their dental healthcare needs, allowing them a range of price points and benefit options."
Josh Nace, vice president of Sales and Service for Dental Health Services sums up the partnership, noting, "Collaborating with The Principal is a natural fit for Dental Health Services. This excellent combination allows us to offer benefits not found anywhere else and reinforces our position as a company providing leading edge dental benefit solutions."
