The DALE Foundation makes earning CE credits easy for dental assistants

The DALE Foundation strives for excellence in all it does. That’s why we’re proud to announce that the DALE Foundation has received Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE) by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)*. The continuing education programs offered by AGD PACE providers are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership, and membership maintenance credit. Additionally, many state dental boards recognize AGD PACE providers as meeting state requirements for continuing education.

AGD PACE approval is a rigorous process that establishes standards of excellence, and also determines whether approved organizations continue to uphold quality standards.

“The DALE Foundation is proud to be approved as an AGD PACE provider,” said Cindy Durley, M.Ed., MBA, Executive Director of the DALE Foundation. “This industry approval underscores our commitment to providing quality continuing education and is one more way we assure our learners they are receiving excellent review courses and study aids.”

The DALE Foundation is also recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA) Continuing Education Recognition Program (CERP).

Courses for exam prep and beyond
The DALE Foundation offers several courses to meet the needs of dental assistants at many stages of their careers. For assistants who are looking to earn certification from the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. (DANB), the DALE Foundation offers numerous review courses and practice tests. There are several courses that are geared toward those who are preparing for DANB’s Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) exam:

DANB RHS Review
Conventional Dental Radiography Review
DANB ICE Review
DANB GC Review Part I
DANB GC Review Part II

In addition to exam prep, many of these clinical courses are worth 12 CE credits and can be completed to meet DANB certification renewal requirements or state CE requirements.

The DALE Foundation also offers other clinical courses on topics such as:
Dental Cements and Adhesives
Behavioral Guidance and Management for the Pediatric Dental Patient

These courses are ideal for assistants who are looking to explore a new topic and earn between three and six CE credits.

For dental professionals who are interested in other topics, the DALE Foundation offers courses on dental office management, including:
Accounts Receivable for the Dental Office
Financial Reporting for the Dental Office
HR Fundamentals for the Dental Office

These courses are worth between four and six CE credits. Successful completion of these three DALE Foundation courses is among the list of requirements for Fellowship in the American Association of Dental Office Managers.

Beyond meeting DANB recertification renewal or state CE requirements, earning CE brings numerous benefits, such as:
• Improving office efficiency and productivity
• Enhancing staff knowledge and patient care
• Ensuring compliance with infection control and radiation safety guidelines
• Boosting team morale and engagement
