CrossLink Radio podcast celebrates World Orofacial Myofunctional Science Day
Shirley Gutkowski, the popular Cross Link Radio host, announces a special two-hour podcast on Feb. 17 dedicated to the celebration of World Orofacial Myofunctional Science Day. The two-hour special will highlight therapy leaders in orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) lactation, speech-language pathology, feeding therapy, dentists, and others.
OMT, sometimes called oral myology, is a treatment that aims at improving and establishing the correct function of the oral and facial muscles.
Celebrated on the 17th of February of each year, World Day of Orofacial Myofunctional Science Day was set apart and chosen in honor of Dr. Irene Marchesan, a speech therapist who has contributed immensely and is still doing same towards the development of OM in Brazil and across the globe.
Gutkowski will conduct interviews with several airway focused treatment professionals who treat and prevent airway issues from birth through their entire lifetime.
The podcast starts at 2 p.m. on Feb. 17. This podcast will be hosted live on The Blog Talk Radio. The link can be found here.
