SafeGuard Health Enterprises, Inc. today announced the opening of an office in Tampa, Fla., the second SafeGuard office in the Florida marketplace. The new office, which is located at 5421 Beaumont Center Boulevard, Suite 611, Tampa, FL 33634, will serve members located in Central Florida, while SafeGuard's Ft. Lauderdale office will serve members in South Florida.
James E. Buncher, SafeGuard's president and chief executive officer, said, "We are pleased to be opening our second office in the Florida marketplace, which has proven to be a very robust market for the dental benefit programs we provide. We have recently added several new customers in Central Florida, and we view this marketplace as one with a great deal of potential for growth. With a second office in operation, we expect our sales, account management and provider relations personnel to be better able to serve our growing membership base in Florida."
SafeGuard provides managed care dental plans, PPO/indemnity dental plans, vision benefit plans, administrative services, and preferred provider organization services. The Company serves approximately 650,000 members, primarily in California, Florida and Texas.
