SmartPractice donates to hurricane relief effort

Company donates $32,640 to Hurricane Katrina cause.

To assist in Katrina Hurricane Relief, SmartPractice employees and leaders have donated $32,640 to MAP International, an international organization whose mission is to advance community health development, disease prevention, relief and rehabilitation.

MAP will provide essential medicines, supplies, and humanitarian relief to Katrina victims. SmartPractice leaders, Curt Hamann, MD, CEO, President, and his wife, Beth Hamann, DDS, VP, donated $2 for every $1 donated by company employees.

The Hamann family has partnered with MAP International for many years, assisting them with gloves for facilities around the world including Cuba, Central America, Africa, and most recently the Tsunami Relief in Southeast Asia. MAP International is a top 100 relief organization. www.map.org.
