ADEAGies Foundation presents William J. Gies awards for vision, innovation, achievement
WASHINGTON, D.C.--The ADEAGies Foundation's William J. Gies awards for vision, innovation, and achievement were presented Feb. 27, 2010, at the Gaylord National Harbor.
Named after William J. Gies, a pioneer in dental education, the Gies Awards recognize contributions to and support of global oral health and education initiatives. The program was hosted by René Syler, former co-anchor of CBS News' The Early Show and author of Good-Enough Mother.
The Gies Awards were presented at a celebration in conjunction with the 2010 ADEA Annual Session and Exhibition, held Feb. 27-March 3. The premier sponsorship by Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products, Division of McNEIL-PPC of the 2010 Gies Awards program, is part of the company's overall support of ADEAGies Foundation initiatives for advancing excellence in dental education.
