Appliance Therapy Group to stress staff development at 2010 symposium

Seventh annual event to be held March 11-14 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, Nev.

LOS ANGELES, California--Appliance Therapy Group has announced it will featue two days dedicated to dental staff development at the 2010 ATPA Symposium.

The Seventh Annual Appliance Therapy Practitioners Association Symposium will be an education-driven gathering of dental professionals, clinicians and field-related experts and will be held March 11-14 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, Nev.

The symposium--comprising four days of lectures, instruction, and workshops-- will include two days of staff training with staffing and office management expert Anita Jupp, discussion and application of the principles of team play, goal orchestration, motivation strategies and education essentials, and the art of collaborative promotion, support and success.

Also on tap will be Interfacing with the Dental Lab with Rob W. Veis, DDS, and Q & A With the Experts--a panel/audience discussion.

Keynote Speaker Fred Joyal of 1-800-DENTIST will share about the marketing secrets and strategies that every dental professional should know.

"Careful, comprehensive staff training is at the core of professional success in our industry," explained Dr. Veis, Appliance Therapy Group CEO. "... because of that, we're inviting all participating doctors to bring two members of their staff along absolutely free of charge."

In addition, the symposium will feature a day dedicated to Dental Sleep Medicine, highlighted by former AADSM President Dr. Harold Smith (Appliance Therapy in the Treatment of OSA) and medical authority and former Executive Vice President of Herbalife International, Dr. Lawrence A. May, (A NonInvasive Method for Treating Sleep).

Also on hand will be Dr. Jerald H. Simmons (Sleep and the Pathophysiology of OSA), Michael S. Simmons, DMD (Sleep Disordered Breathing), Ronald Prehn, DDS (OSA, The Missing Link in TMD), and Rosalia C. Burke, MD (Surgical Management of OSA).

Seminar attendees will have the opportunity to earn as many as 42 continuing education credits and receive certification in the Perio-Protect Method, submit case presentations for display and feedback, participate in hands-on breakfast round table sessions, attend lectures and workshops on topics from minor tooth movement to mouthguards to legal imperatives, and initiate and grow future relationships, programs, and partnerships.
