OSAP symposium to feature golf tournament

Tournament will honor infection control expert John Molinari, who is retiring from the University of Detroit Mercy in June 2009.

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland--The Organization for Safety and Asepsis Procedures has announced that its 2009 Symposium in Dallas, Texas, will feature a new event: the John Molinari Charity Golf Tournament.

The tournament will begin at 7 a.m. June 11 at the Tribute Golf Links in The Colony. The tournament honors John Molinari, an infection control expert, who is retiring from the University of Detroit Mercy in June 2009.

The John Molinari Charity Golf Tournament will take place immediately preceding the OSAP symposium, which will run from June 11-14.

The symposium is designed for infection control and safety instructors, lecturers, authors, consultants, researchers, dentists, hygienists, assistants, lab technicians, nurses in dental clinics, and dental sales and marketing personnel.

During the meeting, leading experts on infection control and occupational health and safety will share information.

Tournament participants will not have to attend the symposium in order to play.
