One of this year's big features at the Academy of Laser Dentistry's 10th Anniversary Conference & Exhibition will be the unveiling of a new image campaign from dentalfear.com, the new online educational resource for dentists and patients concerned with dental phobia and anxiety.

The new web-based resource, headed by dentalfear.com President Dr. Jack Bynes, will be present at the conference and exhibition area displaying the new campaign to dental professionals. Services include the unique dentalfear.com e-learning course, phobia and patient educational resources and marketing support for dental affiliates. "I'm very proud of the attention that dentalfear.com is getting already, and I'm even more excited about what the future holds for us as we educate the public and bring more and more dentists onboard and into the dentalfear.com community. I'm really looking forward to the Florida conference on laser dentistry. The Academy of Laser Dentistry's conference is the perfect setting to meet professionals that want to advance their practice and increase their patient load", explained Bynes.

The Academy of Laser Dentistry's Tenth Annual Conference and Exhibition will be held in Destin, Florida from March 5 - 8, 2003 at the Hilton Sandestin Resort. The conference will feature scientific and clinical presentations in all major laser wavelengths for general dentistry, periodontics, aesthetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, implantology, endodontics, and oral surgery. Speakers and attendees are expected from the United States and around the world. One of the major objectives of the Academy of Laser Dentistry is to develop educational and clinical standards in laser dentistry in order to help promote safe and efficacious laser use on patients. Use of the laser in dental practice minimizes the pain that patients usually experience.

"In general, the dentalfear.com concept has been well received by the dental community. Now, it's a matter of re-enforcing our new message to the dental community and getting the word out about our services and products", said dentalfear.com Director of Sales and Marketing Erin Merrow. "We're in a unique position to offer some tremendous resources to dentists and patients at the same time", Merrow concluded.

As a new online resource, dentalfear.com is quickly becoming one of the most popular web destinations for dentists and patients concerned about the anxiety, fear or phobia about dental work. While over 40 million Americans do not receive regular dental treatment, dentalfear.com is helping many of these individuals to conquer their fear and get the attention and dental care they deserve.
