Expansion fueled by growing number of product offerings
Dental manufacturer Air Techniques Inc. (Melville, New York) has expanded its North American sales presence with the addition of four regional sales specialists, a national sales manager, and an institutional sales manager.
The expansion of the company's sales force comes on the heels of the company’s recent product launch of its new CamX cameras.
“Air Techniques continues to penetrate other sectors of the dental industry and introduce new product offerings, all of which have increased our need for sales support,” said Vice President of North American Sales Lou Guellnitz.
Holly Martin, John Kuzman, Israel Shalomoff, Teague Paratore, and Robert Taylor have all joined Air Techniques as regional sales specialists.
- Ms. Martin will oversee the south-central region of the United States.
- Mr. Kuzman is responsible for the eastern portion of the United States.
- Mr. Shalomoff will handle the southwestern territory of the United States.
- Mr. Paratore will manage northern California as well as Hawaii and portions of Nevada.
- Mr. Taylor will oversee northern Texas along with portions of Arkansas and Louisiana.
Combined, the group has more than 80 years of dental industry experience. They join four current regional sales specialists whose territories cover the Mid-Atlantic, southeast, north-central and northwest portions of the United States.

Gregory Mellos has been named a national sales manager for Air Techniques. Mr. Mellos will be responsible for sales and building relationships with Canadian dental dealers. He brings 21 years of dental experience and is trilingual in English, French, and Greek. Mr. Mellos previously held positions of Canadian national sales manager and territory manager with SDS/Kerr.
John Leone has joined the Air Techniques salesforce as an institutional sales manager. Mr. Leone has 13 years of dental industry experience and will be responsible for building partnerships with group dental practices, schools, hospitals, and other large dental organizations, primarily on the west coast of the United States.
