Twelve nonprofit oral health partners in the NCOHF affiliate network benefited from the Sirona contribution of four Heliodent DS Intraoral X-ray units, eight CEREC 3 acquisition units, and eight CEREC 3 milling chambers.
With a focus on prevention, NCOHF affiliates provide vital comprehensive oral health services to local children in desperate need of care. In less than five years, NCOHF has delivered more than $7 million in direct funding, donated dental products, and educational resources to the growing affiliate network through the generosity of dedicated supporters like Sirona Dental Systems.
“We are proud to be able to offer this donation in support of NCOHF, its affiliates, and our community,” said Michael Augins, president of Sirona Dental Systems. “We appreciate the terrific work of the NCOHF and their efforts to provide increased access to dental care to America’s children. It is an honor to be able to support such a worthy cause.”
Added Fern Ingber, NCOHF president and CEO: “The demand for affiliate services has never been greater, and programs are struggling to care for an increasing number of patients with even fewer resources. This significant donation of Sirona dental equipment will allow NCOHF Affiliate partners to expand existing pediatric services and give more children the building blocks for healthy and productive futures.”
