CHARLOTTE, North Carolina--National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy announced the election of a new slate of officers and welcomed new Board of Directors member Martha Ann Keels, DDS, PhD, Aug. 27, 2010, at its quarterly meeting.
The NCOHF slate of officers includes:
Chairman: Christopher T. Clark, president & COO, Dentsply International
President: Fern Ingber, MEd, CEO, NCOHF (ex-Officio)
First Vice President: Thomas M. Prescott, president & CEO, Align Technologies
Second Vice President: Tom Engels, retired vice president & general nanager, 3M ESPE
Treasurer: P. Christopher Holden, president, Heraeus Kulzer
Secretary: John N. Williams, DMD, dean, Indiana University School of Dentistry
Dr. Keels is newly elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors. She is division chief of pediatric dentistry at Duke University, and serves as division chief of pediatric dentistry at Duke Children’s Hospital.
In 1990, she helped establish the pediatric dental program at Duke. Board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Keels holds fellowships in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and is a member of several national and international associations and societies. She is chair of the section of pediatric dentistry and oral health within the American Academy of Pediatrics.
