MELVILLE, New York--Henry Schein, a distributor of health-care products and services to office-based practitioners, has announced that the American Dental Hygienists' Association has presented Henry Schein Dental with an Honorary Corporate Award.The award is in recognition of Henry Schein's dedication to the dental hygiene profession and support of the ADHA. The award presentation took place during the 2010 Center for Lifelong Learning at the ADHA's 87th Annual Session in Las Vegas, Nev. The ADHA's Honorary Corporate Membership Award is presented to companies that provide financial support in excess of $15,000 annually for programs that empower, support, and develop dental hygienists and dental hygiene students across the country. Henry Schein Dental has been an Honorary Corporate Member of the ADHA through its commitment to the student table clinics and research poster session held annually during ADHA's annual session. Henry Schein Dental's co-sponsorship of this program enables more than 50 student posters and table clinics to be judged.
