Patterson Dental breast cancer initiative

Patterson Dental has launched a breast cancer awareness initiative called Grins for a Good Cause.

Through this outreach, 75 local Patterson branches across the nation will partner with local breast cancer organizations to hold events and fundraising activities that support breast cancer awareness in their communities.

“With activities taking place in communities throughout the U.S., we hope to make a significant impact on breast cancer awareness efforts,” Patterson Dental President Paul Guggenheim said. “Grins for a Good Cause events present exciting opportunities to work together with local, recognized groups in the fight against breast cancer.”

More than 207,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, according to the American Cancer Society.

Patterson Dental also announced that a portion of proceeds from products purchased by dental professionals from the Grins for a Good Cause flyer are donated to a local breast cancer awareness organization (selected by Patterson) in the customers’ area. The flyer includes products to promote awareness efforts annually in dental practices.
