Air Techniques, Inc., has appointed John Scott as their new president. He recently joined the Air Techniques team as vice president of sales and marketing, and has more than seven years of experience in the dental industry.
“John’s management style will complement Air Techniques’ approach in involving all team members and ensuring that our branding message is consistent,” said Martin Dürrstein, CEO of DÜRR DENTAL AG.
As Air Techniques celebrates its 50th anniversary, the company will embrace the future direction through John’s guidance. Continuing its legacy as a U.S. manufacturer, Air Techniques is committed to engineering products that empower the dental practitioner and its network of dealers.

John has been actively involved with many key associations and groups in working to improve the industry. He is an active member and Counsel Chairman of the Dental Trade Alliance, Exhibit Advisory Committee member of the American Dental Association, and member of the corporate council for the American Dental Education Association.
When asked what goals John has in store for Air Techniques, he responded, “It is important to maintain the leadership that Air Techniques holds in the large equipment categories, while expanding our product portfolio domestically and internationally. We will also look to increase our presence in dental universities.”
While Air Techniques looks to expand its business, John will ensure that its healthy reputation of providing high levels of customer and technical service stays intact.
