May 3 initial survey results from Proofs

As you may have read in my Editor's Note, I looked at the first 100 responses to our recent survey of Proofs readers to get some initial feedback on the survey. Here are some of the interesting things I found when looking at the results.

Of our first 100 responses, 50 came from sales reps. Of those 50, 34 told us they make 50 or less visits to dental offices in a week. Also, 49 of them indicated that they meet with the dentist, while nine meet with the dental assistant, and eight meet with the office manager (respondents could make more than one choice in their answer).

We also asked which company had the best manufacturer reps. So far, 3M ESPE leads with 14 votes, while A-Dec is second with 11, and DENTSPLY is third with nine.
