Oral Health America to Host 17th annual gala

Dec. 21, 2006
Annual event during Chicago Midwinter raises funds for oral health service programs.

Oral Health America, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving oral health for all Americans for 50 years, will hold its 17th Annual Gala Dinner and Silent Auction Feb. 22 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Navy Pier in Chicago. The event will raise funds to support educational and service programs designed to improve oral health.

The Oral Health America Gala, with a 2007 theme of "Connect in Chicago," is hosted each year during the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting, and is one of the dental industry's premier networking events. Many companies use it as an opportunity to entertain key clients or business associates. The black-tie optional evening features dinner, dancing, cash prize raffle, and a silent auction that includes jewelry, restaurant and theater certificates, celebrity items, and advertising space. The event raises critical funds for providing dental care to those without access to treatment.

Tickets are $250 each, and a table for 10 is $2,200. Oral Health America is also seeking event sponsors at the Gold ($2,000-plus) and Platinum ($5,000-plus) levels. For tickets or information on sponsorships and donations, please contact Joe Donohue at OHA at (312) 836-9900 or e-mail [email protected].
