Speaking Consulting Network announces new Fellowship credential

The Speaking Consulting Network (SCN) announced that SCN members may begin the application process for the new Fellow of the Speaking Consulting Network (FSCN) credential. The FSCN credential was first introduced to Speaking Consulting Network members at the 2010 SCN Annual Meeting, and starting December 1, 2012, SCN members could begin submitting their qualifications for consideration.

The FSCN credential will be awarded to individual members who have reached an exceptional level of achievement as professional speakers, authors, and consultants as evidenced by their meeting the award requirements. The first credential recipients will be announced at the SCN Annual Conference in Loveland, Colorado (June 7-9, 2013).

The development of the FSCN credential has been two years in development and this announcement puts in place a significant milestone for SCN members and for the profession they serve. “I am thrilled for the members of SCN”, said Linda Miles, CSP, CMC and founder of SCN, “that they will now have the opportunity to be recognized for their continued pursuit of exceptional service to dentistry.”

Banta, founder of Banta Consulting, a leading nationwide practice management consulting firm, now serves as CEO and owner of SCN, while Miles remains in an advisory position and active participant in SCN leadership and conferences.
