SOUTH JORDAN, Utah--Ultradent Products, Inc. has received the 2007 Zions Bank Global Pacesetter Award, an award given in conjunction with the 2007 Zions Bank International Trade and Business Conference at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ultradent received the award for its excellence in exporting.
The Zions Bank Global Pacesetter is awarded to a Utah based company that demonstrates leadership and courage by exploring opportunities in global trade. Ultradent develops and distributes affordable, high quality dental products in over 80 countries.
Part of the company's mission is to raise the level of oral healthcare around the world through exporting high quality dental products and through sponsorship of a non-profit foundation, The Diversity Foundation, which has donated products and financial assistance to humanitarian efforts on a local and international level.
Attendees at the event included business executives and entrepreneurs interested in learning more about opportunities for expansion in dynamic foreign markers.
John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (2005-06), Utah Governor Jon M. Huntsman Jr., and Bijan Kian, cirector of the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. were among the highly noted list of speakers at the award ceremony.
