VA centers in New York, New Jersey award Kodak multi-million-dollar medical imaging order
Eastman Kodak Company has announced that it has received a multi-million-dollar order with Veterans Affairs (VA) centers in New York and New Jersey for Kodak computed radiography (CR) systems and Kodak DryView laser imaging systems. The order with Veterans Integrated Service Network of New York/New Jersey (VISN 3) will place Kodak medical imaging equipment at seven VA facilities in New York and New Jersey.
The order includes: 26 Kodak DirectView CR 800 and CR 900 systems and accessories, including Kodak DirectView EVP and Kodak DirectView Total Quality Tool software, and 15 Kodak DryView 8700 imaging systems.
"Government medical facilities, including VA Medical Centers, can rely upon Kodak to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging products that facilitate the productive capture and efficient delivery of medical images," said Atul V. Minocha, vice president of marketing for Health Imaging's Americas region.
Kodak's award-winning CR platform enables the electronic capture, distribution and archiving of images to help improve workflow and productivity. The Kodak DirectView CR 800 System received a prestigious Medical Design Excellence Award (MDEA) last year. The MDEA competition is the premier awards program for the medical technology community.
