As I travel around the country meeting with dental assistants, I'm reminded again and again of the importance of networking and working together with other dental assistants to solve problems. Honestly, I believe being able to share the joys and frustrations of the job is critical to the success of the dental assistant.
With that in mind, I'm excited about a program I will be presenting on January 18 to the Greater St. Louis Dental Assistants Society in conjunction with the ADAA. I'll be speaking on "Battling the demons of dental assisting," and we'll be talking about the topics I know are important to you ... salaries, respect, working together as a team, and finding joy in your job.
The evening in St. Louis begins at 6 p.m. and includes dinner. The cost is $15, including dinner and two CE credits. While geared toward dental assistants, dentists, office managers, front office assistants, and hygienists are certainly welcome to attend.
