Gloves Off: PPOs, patient attitudes, and the realities about insurance

June 28, 2022
In today’s dental office, we fear push-back from patients about payments, and some offices base treatment just on what insurance will pay. Is there a solution? Dr. David Rice and Teresa Duncan discuss.

Today, in Gloves Off, we’re going to talk about a hard topic in dentistry: the reality of insurance in the dental office.

We’re often rabid about making sure we get eligibility and benefits for our patients, almost to an extreme. We fear push-back from patients about payments. And some offices base treatment just on what insurance will pay.

Join us as we talk about insurance from the perspectives of the dental team and the patient and look at what a dedicated insurance coordinator can do for you and your practice.
