DENSTPLY Ceramco announces bleaching courses for dental technicians
Axel Seeger, CDT, a world-renowned ceramist, educator, and master dental technician from Berlin, Germany, will be the featured speaker during a series of two-day CDT credit courses in July.
The schedule for the course "Meeting the Demands of Bleached Dentition" is July 15-16 (Dental Learning Center, Spring Lake, Minn.), July 18-19 (Marriott Country Club Plaza, Kansas City, Mo.), July 21-22 (YDL Dental Laboratory, Dallas), and July 24-25 (DENTSPLY Ceramco Technical Education Center, Burlington, N.J.).
Each course lasts from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, provides 16 CDT credits, and is limited to 12 technicians. The fee for active participation is $500. Models will be sent to each participant for pre-course completion of copings. Registration closes three weeks prior to each course's commencement date.
"Meeting the Demands of Bleached Dentition" is a comprehensive hands-on workshop that begins with a review of the rapidly changing nature of natural esthetic dentition. It analyzes the challenges presented to laboratory professionals by the bleaching explosion. And, most importantly, it provides step-by-step procedures for using ceramic powders, stains, and effect materials to duplicate today's ever-whiter, brilliantly brighter cosmetic dentition. Also discussed will be techniques for duplication of various surface textures.
