MicroDental Laboratories, makers of MAC Veneers, was honored with the Jewel of the Year and Woman of the Year awards at this year's 10th Annual Mrs. Globe Pageant, held July 16-26 in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
Inspirational women from more than 40 countries convened at this year's pageant, the world's only authentic internationally telecast pageant for married women.
Mrs. Globe is dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, goodwill and charitable acts through beauty and competition, and is the primary fundraiser for The W.I.N. (Women in Need) Foundation, raising money for abused and abandoned women and children all over the world.
"We're happy to give these women a reason to smile and appreciate the honors," said Fred Walke, CEO, MicroDental and this year's pageant co-host. "MicroDental is committed to changing lives through the power of a smile and fully support the W.I.N. Foundation's goal of healing and empowering women."
The Jewel of the Year recognizes MicroDental's service and dedication to the W.I.N. Foundation. Every year MicroDental donates cosmetic dental services and teeth bleaching to Mrs. Globe contestants, working with several cosmetic dentists from across the country to makeover contestants' smiles.
MicroDental's Director of Industry Affiliations, Heather Martin was awarded the Woman of the Year Award for the 2nd year in a row, recognizing her individual efforts in working to further the W.I.N. Foundation's abuse recovery programs.
