60% of composites fail for this ONE reason

And it's entirely within our control.

The reason is our curing lights. This is crazy, as it’s entirely within our control.

Make sure your light 1. puts out enough energy, and 2. focuses that energy appropriately. Not enough focus means you’re getting great horizontal cure but insufficient vertical cure. Overly focused means you’re getting solid vertical cure but not enough medio-distally.

Think about this one simple technology and the impact it has on every patient, every day. Invest wisely. Since everyone always asks me what I own, it's the 10 PowerCure lights by Ivoclar.

I’m a systems junkie, so I like the 3-second cure with their adhesive and Powerflow and fill. I love the lane assist that keeps me, not the tooth, in the ideal position. Check it out!
