DIQ webinar series: The composite that will change the world (Video)
The technical challenges associated with composite restorations and the frustration when composites don’t last very long and suffer from secondary caries are something all dentists experience, explains Dr. Pamela Maragliano-Muniz. Here she speaks with Dr. Ervin Weiss, founder of Nobio Technologies, and Yoram Ashery, Nobio CEO.
Dr. Weiss asked himself many years ago, “How can we improve composites to become more like amalgam and yet be very esthetic and very easy to handle?” He immediately thought that composites are not antibacterial, whereas amalgam is antibacterial due to the heavy metal content.
After many years of thought and research, Dr. Weiss and the team at Nobio created a new technology, Infinix advanced restoratives, that will make the jobs of dentists much easier and will allow restorations to last much longer. The technology offers antimicrobial properties permanently.
Dr. Weiss and Ashery proudly share a brief overview of how to use Infinix flowable and bulk fill composites. They explain that it took the company years to create Infinix, and two more years to perfect, so they know the product is outstanding and will make dentists’ lives much easier.
