An internal UV LED diode kills bacteria and other organisms and helps reduce cross-contamination. The Buffalo UV MT Wet Model Trimmer Finishing System features a 365-nm UV LED light that not only disinfects the surface of the model trimmer wheel, but also helps break the chain of cross-contamination each time the model is reintroduced to the grinding surface. The UV LED system has been strategically placed and installed within the door assembly, reducing the chance of cross-contamination when trimming multiple stone models. The Buffalo UV MT Wet Model Trimmer Finishing System features a torque motor and coarse Carborundum wheel that cuts quickly and smoothly to save time and money. The balanced direct-drive system runs quietly and can stay steady and trouble-free for years. An enlarged work window increases working area to improve vision and provide full wheel use while reducing splashing. The calibrated work table can be tilted and repositioned to suit trimming requirements. Optional accessories include diamond wheels in either 10- or 12-inch size, and solenoid units that provide instant water on/off when a power switch is either on or off. The new model trimmer is also available in 220V for international installations. Patents are pending in the United States and Canada.
